Bronze Coating

Exterior corrosion-resistant CTX structural lag screws from Big Timber Construction Fasteners are heat treated hardened steel for high tensile strength and high shear strength.  They are triple layer ACQ compatible bronze coated and use a T25 star drive bit. They feature a built in washer head for increased pull through strength.  Aggressive knurl enlarges hole to reduce splitting and drag to help draw the lumber together.  Type 17 tip allows faster precise starts which eliminates "walking" and provides easier insertion without pre-drilling.
