Hired Hand 3005-0107 High-Limit Switch – 320°F Manual Reset

The Hired Hand 3005-0107 High-Limit Switch is a 320°F manual-reset safety switch used in Hired Hand Super Saver XL 225,000 BTU heaters. This thermostat-style safety device monitors internal heater temperature and shuts the system down if it rises beyond safe operating levels.

Overheating can occur from restricted airflow, dirty or clogged filters, or other ventilation problems. When the high-limit switch trips, it prevents further operation until the issue is corrected and the switch is manually reset. If this switch is activating often, it’s typically a sign that the heater needs cleaning or that airflow needs to be restored.
